Since the pandemic, music lovers have turned to streaming sites more as a means of entertainment and artistes have in return seen their numbers skyrocket on these digital media platforms.
One such artiste who has been reaping streaming rewards is New York based Dancehall fusion artiste Skip DaLine.
Following his recent promotional run to Jamaica, the artiste released his single ‘Melanin’ which debuted at number seventeen on the Itunes Charts within a day of its release on March 23rd.
‘Melanin’ is self- produced on his Skip DaLine Music imprint.

Skip currently has his most popular single ‘THICC’ in rotation in Africa via MTV Base Africa, then expecting a world premiere release this Friday via VEVO. The official video for ‘Melanin’ is also slated to be premiered by MTV Base Africa in coming weeks.
Skip DaLine is scheduled to perform at Love and Dancehall on May 8th, In New York City which will also features other top Dancehall acts like Spice
