Kendrick Lamar has President Obama’s vote. The commander-in-chief has once again shared his support for the Compton rapper.

According to Rap-up,  In an interview with YouTube on Friday (Jan. 15), the interviewer  briefly spoke on recent controversy,  ‘Drake vs. Meek Mill’  but quickly, flipped it and asked Obama  “who would win in a rap battle between Kendrick and Drake?”
POTUS didn’t hesitate when stating his pick, which was Kendrick.

Obama stated, “Gotta go with Kendrick,” said Obama of the 11-time Grammy nominee. “I think Drake is an outstanding entertainer, but Kendrick, his lyrics… His last album [To Pimp a Butterfly] was outstanding. Best album, I think, last year.”

However, this should come as no surprise.  POTUS  Barack Obama called “How Much a Dollar Cost” his favorite song of 2015 and recently met with Kendrick at the White House to discuss his mentoring initiative, My Brother’s Keeper.
