As Jamaica along with the world continues to grapple with the fallout from the ongoing pandemic, the love to survive has propelled the beauty not just within ourselves but others. The island which was ranked by Trip Advisor as the Number One Caribbean destination, and the Number 14 Best Destination in the World in 2019, continues to be the popular choice today.
Ms Patricia Eddo, who jetted from the United Kingdom to wed her fiancé Tavaris Williams opted to not just tie the knot on the award-winning island but faced several challenges with regards to hosting their wedding reception.
“I have never been to Plantation Smokehouse before and neither had my wife, but we had heard of it. We had gotten married but was unable to find somewhere to host the reception, so I called Plantation and they told us to come over. The food was great, clean restaurant and the staff was all warm and friendly” stated Mr Williams.
The couple which spoke to our team spoke about the difficulties of having a wedding during the ongoing Covid19 pandemic stated, “it was a logistical nightmare due to various health and safety restrictions but love triumphed.”It was Mr Williams reached out Plantation Smokehouse right after the wedding to see if they could accommodate them as such short notice.
