As for the remnants of 2020, Alkaline has started releasing various visuals for singles released earlier this year. All of which has garnered millions of views with visuals to follow suit.

His video for ‘We Up’ which was released last week, peaked at the #1 position on the coveted Apple Video Charts and currently is the #2 trending video on YouTube in Jamaica.

The Billboard charting artiste is also releasing the visuals for ‘Nah Fi Like’ which is produced by renowned producer “Studio Vibes” on December 11th, 2020.

Nah Fi Like‘ is the second music video to be released during the first two weeks of December and will undoubtedly climb charts! The high-society themed visuals portray Alkaline strutting around a mansion in Miami with beautiful females, exotic animals, draped in high couture fashion.

While the artiste style and lyrics remain a cause for controversy in Jamaica, this has only made him a ‘counterculture icon’ amongst youths. Releases such as ‘Monopoly’, ‘Ocean Wave’, ‘Juggernaut’ and ‘Move Mountains’ are just a few examples of his artistry yet again.

With his meteoric rise to the helm of Dancehall amidst mounting opposition and constant criticism, Alkaline, undoubtedly is the most successful independent artiste in reggae-dancehall history to date.
