As the new year unfolds, recording artiste Starrr Doll pledges that her presence will be felt in 2021, amid her official foray onto the Jamaican music scene.

The young entertainer disclosed that part of her promotional strategy entailed, the releasing of several singles over a few months, with the accompaniment of visuals for each. Since the last quarter of 2020, she has unveiled four new tracks titled, Get Tek, Experience, Nah Stress, and ‘Mi G’, the latter features fellow dancehall upstart Kash.

Starrr Doll intimates that the multi-prong approach is aimed at garnering increased presence on various platforms as her team makes a cohesive push to gain her notoriety.

“I have been a fan of music from my childhood years, since then I’ve always told both my parents and teachers that one day I will become a star and I intend to fulfill that dream.” –

The Jamaican-born, U.S based entertainer; says that aside from the cohesive push by her management. Her reason for premiering several tracks over the past few months is to offer variety to various audiences and showcase her versatility as an artiste.

“The reason I opted to release so many songs over the past months is to offer variety to the listening public, not everyone appreciates every type of song. Therefore, I wanted to release material addressing different subjects. This will allow me as an artiste to connect to a wider audience both locally and internationally and provide feedback as to what is connecting with the masses.”

Her latest music video entitled, ‘Experience’, directed by Gordon Studios with production credit courtesy of Shabdon Records, is a risqué composition backed by very sultry visuals as she explains to potential suitors that she is looking for a ‘man with experience’. Since released, the video has amassed almost 350,000 views via her VEVO account (StarrrdollVEVO).

Meanwhile, the official video for her collaborative effort Mi G, (The Chemist Records), was premiered on February 1. The young singer is hopeful fans will respond positively to the track.
