This week, Jamaica’s magnetic upstart Lila Iké unveils the visual for her new single “Where I’m Coming From.” The track has been picking up heat since its debut on June 14th, 2019 via In.Digg.Nation Collective/Easy Star Records. The video, directed by Nickii Kane, brings to life the fiery fervor heard in Lila’s versatile flow and in the rugged trap-inspired beat produced by Kasadie “Caspa” Jones. From her first home in Kingston to her hometown in the countryside of Manchester, Lila takes the viewers on a vibrant walk through her stomping grounds in Jamaica, with friends and family along the way. Later, her crew – which includes a star-studded cast like dancehall artist Chi Ching Ching, rising songstress Sevana, GRAMMY-nominated reggae singer Protoje – turns the streets into a lively party.
“Where I’m Coming From” is available now on all streaming platforms.
