For New York based Dancehall artiste Skip Da Line, ‘Wine So’ can easily be described as his most impactful release to date.
The Dancehall-Afro infused track was distributed under his Skip Da Line Music imprint on Jauary 7 with visualizer featuring popular choreographer Toni Gay O’Meally, more popularly known as ‘Happy Feet’.
When asked about the unique way in which he composed the track, Skip shared; “I’m always looking for sounds that compliment each other and as such I always find myself drawing inspiration from other cultures and genres. Wine So is a Dancehall song on a Afro fusion beat that gives listeners an instant urge to move”
He continued by sharing some insights into his promotional campaign, ” As a part of my campaign strategy I sought out a dancer who I knew would deliver a second to none choreography and Happy Feet definitely captured the media with her performance to the song. The single gains more streams from all over the world daily and I am thankful for the continued support”.
With the single quickly garnering thousands of views across digital platforms, Skip Da Line quickly decided to put plans in place to shoot an official video.
The artiste will be embarking on a small promotional tour in coming months in a bid to capture the cultural essence needed for the official video.
While Skip Da Line continues to fervently promote ‘Wine So’ he expressed that he has other singles that are also performing well.
In 2021 Skip Da Line made a massive international impact in several countries with his single ‘Melanin’, a track dedicated to women of all demographics.
