18-year-old Jamaican Gevanni Huttonin has made it to The Voice UK finals.
Huttonin secured one of the final four spots when he performed Jimmy Cliff’s 1969 classic, “Many Rivers To Cross.”
The competition returned after a seven-month hiatus for its long-awaited semi-finals that was originally slated for March 28, but was postponed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Gevanni Huttonin grew up in the Cypress Hall, Red Hills, St Andrew area. The young singer left Jamaica in 2018 to reside with his dad in the UK, who was living there for nearly two decades.
Huttonin is now poised to win 2020 The Voice UK, following in the steps of Former Rising Stars winner Dalton Harris who won the UK X factor two years ago.
