Dancehall enigma Alkaline seems to be open to performing on home soil this 2017.
According to our sources close to the deejay, Alkaline recently wrapped up a deal with Bogdanovich’s Reggae Sumfest team and he’ll be one of the headliner acts at this 2017 staging in Montego Bay, Jamaica this July. We were also told that this deal was finalized long before Alkaline’s online feud with the ‘King of Dancehall’ Beenie Man.
Bogdanovich says the ‘Champion Boy’ deejay was added to the Music Festival’s 2017 lineup after his huge fan base demanded he was booked for the event. Alkaline will headline Dancehall Night alongside the ‘Queen of Stage’ Spice. Reggae Sumfest is set for July 16-22 in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
According to sources, more events will be announced in the coming months as Alkaline is reportedly willing to perform in the country once all the necessary contractual arrangements are met. The Vendetta deejay demands a hefty fee, top security, food and the best in accommodation for himself and his team.
