Veteran Dancehall artiste Beenie Man has once again publicly spoken about Alkaline in negative light.
The Doctor shared his opinion on Alkaline’s recent stint with The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) which resulted in him being detained for five days, last month during his interview with Onstage TV.
During his candid interview Onstage, the King of Dancehall says he believes the Badness It Name deejay disrespected law enforcement officials when he arrived late for questioning.
Alkaline, real name Earlan Bartley, who was wanted for questioning in relation to the murder of Rohan “Head” Morris, hired attorney, Peter Champagnie to represent him before turning himself in after his surrender was rescheduled.
However according to Beenie Man, he thinks the delay was disrespectful, “I think the police feel disrespected because they told him to come in Monday and him didn’t come in and extended it until Tuesday, then Wednesday he was suppose to turn in at 5 o’clock and him went Thursday,” He told Williams. “So I think he actually went there when the police was actually looking for him now. I feel the police they have that as a disrespect. If the government come on TV and tell you to turn in yourself because them need to ask you a few questions, and you turn in the day when you feel like then I feel the government would have that as a disrespect.”
