Female Dancehall artist Bridgez is now nursing wounds after she viciously attacked by a knife wielding man on Friday night.
The female recording artist, best known for her affiliation with Bounty Killer’s ANG camp, was stabbed during a crazy ordeal involving a man who was parked in front of her at a popular jerk chicken spot along Red Hills road.
According to reports, the man asked Bridgez to move her vehicle, but she reportedly told him to wait, which sent him into a wild rage.
“I gave money to the vendor and told the man I couldn’t back out into traffic. He said, “alright so yu nah move?’, and went back into his car. The next thing I know, the man is using a knife to break out my fog lights and stab up my car tyres. I get out, and immediately he stabbed me, and then he stabbed me in the head and I fell on my back,” she said.
The entertainer was reportedly rescued by residents in the the area, and the man apprehended by a licensed firearm holder who kept him subdued until the arrival of the police.
Bridgez was rushed to the University Hospital of the West Indies, where she received treatment for a head injury and a stab wound in her back.
According to the female deejay, doctors say she is extremely lucky the knife broke during the man’s attack on the car as the weapon almost fractured her skull.
