Despite being a dominant force on the dancehall scene for a number of years dancehall hotshot Demarco is gearing up to finally drop a much anticipated debut album.
The ‘Bun Up gang’ singjay revealed that the album is currently in the final stages of production and is scheduled to be released in May by Star Kutt Records.
“I’m looking forward to the release of my album, it will be my first official full-length project. The fans have been requesting an album from me for the longest time. The wait is finally over,” said Demarco.
“Over the years, I’ve recorded enough songs to release at least four albums, but the timing wasn’t right. Most of those songs are more like alternative and crossover songs. My team and I have done our research, and we have found out that my fans want a real hardcore dancehall album, and that’s what I’m going to give them with this project,” said Demarco.
Fans can expect collaborations from a number of guest artistes on the album, including Ky-mani Marley and Bunji Garlin.
The first single which is to be released from the album is a song titled Mama that was done in tandem with Ky-mani Marley and that will be released in March.
Demarco recently released the video for his single titled Collar Who, on the Short Boss imprint.
