Vanessa Bling says she is ill and that’s the reason for her no-show at an event over the weekend.

The ‘Independent Ladies’ singer was booked for the Manning’s School Bigga Westmoreland Curry Festival on Sunday, May 30, however cancelled her performance citing health reasons.

On Monday Bling issued a statement apologising to the event organisers and her fans for her absence while sharing the reason for her cancellation was due to problems with her tonsils.

“I Vanessa Bling would like to send my sincere apologies to Mannings High School & the Promoter (s) of the Mannings High School Curry Festival for Not being able to Appear & Perform at The Event this past Weekend,” she wrote.

“My Tonsils have Been giving me Problems & because of this I was not able to make it or Perform.”

“To my Fans Who really wanted to see me I apologize also, i will ensure I make it up to you & the Promoters by giving you all a Grand Performance once I am feeling better.”

“Thank you for your Understanding &  Again, I am Truly Sorry. -Vanessa Bling.,” she added.

Last month Vanessa Bling was engaged in an online feud with Dancehall artist Masicka’s Baby Mama Clymaxx.

The beef between the two started when Clymaxx uploaded a freestyle dissing Bling allegedly after Masicka refused to help launch her career however opted to do a new collaboration with Vanessa Bling recently.
