Alison Hinds is one of the most popular Soca artists in the genre.

Because of her popularity she has been given the moniker ‘Queen of Soca’ and is known as a trailblazer for the genre. 

Born in England but raised in Barbados, Alison Hinds has recorded 11 albums and numerous Caribbean hit records; Alison is also one of the most toured artists from the Caribbean. 

Hinds’ debut solo album ‘Soca Queen’ was released in October 2007 followed by 20210’s Caribbean Queen which includes collaborations with Shaggy, Richie Spice and Jah Cure with whom she also collaborated on the single “Team Up” in 2009.  

In 2021 Alison’s first single release “Go Gal” appeared on VP Records Soca Gold 2021 annual compilation. 

She is the first Soca artist to appear on New York’s #1 morning show The Breakfast Club. 

Alison also performed on the prestigious SummerStage in New York as a part of the cities summer parks concerts series
