If The Dancehall community could tell time to “Reverse It” as Capri’s single suggested it would’ve been done in an heartbeat to prevent her from travelling that tragic day November 22nd 2015.

A few days ago Popcaan and Spice took to Instagram to display their undying love to late Dancehall singer J Capri.

The Unruly Boss, Popcaan uploaded a photo of the “Whine & Kotch” singer via Instagram and wrote, “miss you j wish you was here @jcapri_hcr 🤦🏿‍♂️🙏🏿.”

The Queen of Dancehall Spice was one of the first persons to comment, “😫😫😫 She left way too soon Jah know. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾,” she said.

J Capri, real name Jordan Phillips, died in December 2015 at the University Hospital of the West Indies in St Andrew after she was hospitalised for over a week following a motor vehicle crash.

The entertainer was reportedly travelling on November 23 2015, in the Barbican area of St Andrew about 3:00 am when she reportedly lost control of the car she was driving, which slammed into a wall.

J Capri rose to dancehall stardom in 2013 with a handful of hit collaborations with the likes of Konshens on “Pull Up To Mi Bumper” and Charly Black “Whine & Kotch.” She has also done collaborations with Vybz Kartel and Demarco, as we as, several solo hits including “Reverse It” and “Boom and Bend Ova.”
