Downsound Records artist D’Yani is set to storm the charts with his new song ‘Vengeance’, which will be released very soon on all streaming platforms including Tidal & Amazon.

The much-anticipated music video for the song ‘Vengeance’ was produced by Selector Rolexx Productions for Downsound Records. Downsound Records in association with Rolexx Productions held a small video launch at Janga’s Sound Bar on Tuesday September 23rd.

The launch saw key industry players such as radio disk jockeys, members of the press, renowned music producers, comedians, fellow artists and members of D’Yani’s management team.

The private event ran from 5:30pm to 7pm and boasted the video premiere, along with a short performance from the night’s star. D’Yani’s follow up single ‘Vengeance’ is set to make waves on the international market and the video showed the young artiste’s acting skills & vocal range.

D’Yani, born Andre Chavanie McCormack, is a singer/ songwriter from Spanish Town, Jamaica. His stage name D’Yani, is an inventive synthesis of his birth name Chavanie.

The fast-rising sing-jay first came on the scene after being discovered by Selector Rolexx & Skatta Burrell while he was recording a song at the DownSound Records studio.

They immediately recognised his talent with his breakout single ‘Heaven Telegram’ as he captured the hearts of many. His style showcases a fresh approach to Reggae and Dancehall. His enchanting voice is one that can connect to all age groups.

And with his songwriting skills, he writes lyrics that communicate and connect emotionally with his fans. This has garnered praises from industry icons such as Robert Livingston, Tanya Stephens, Konshens, Ce’cile and more.

So far, D’Yani has numerous performances under his belt: Sting 2016, Reggae Sumfest 2018 and most notably his latest performance on the virtual Taste of Sumfest 2020. As a soulful singer, he considers the stage his playground.
