Fully Bad is seeing his career through new lenses, as he sets his sight on the international market.
The “Proud,” creator Fully Bad has inked a new deal with a U.S. Recording label for an undisclosed signing fee.
This news comes as quite the pleasant surprise for Fully Bad; on Saturday May 9th 2020 information went viral that he had parted-ways with his previous Foota Hype led label FHM (Foota Hype Music)
Both parties left on mutual grounds, with both singing nothing but songs of praises and well-wishes for one another.
Foota Hype broke the news with an official post to his Instagram channel stating;
Fully Bad Followed suit with an Instagram post of his own;
“Although the managerial aspect of my music will be moving in a different direction, i would like to show my respect to the FHM. The opportunity that was given to me is not taken for granted, but at this present time we both decided to part ways. My Team and i will continue to focus on creating new music that will inspire,uplift and entertain. Dancehall music is my core passion and I will do my utmost best to continue in its legacy. The journey continues. #Fullybad #badgad #badgang #timenow”
After rigorous negotiations, The U.S based label had met the demands of Fully Bad and his team, which are arguably very favorable for both parties. The label is reportedly one of large influence and has worked with other noteworthy acts whom they have requested to remain anonymous until further notice.
Fully Bad’s contract sees him receiving a handsome signing purse which would ultimately be used towards uplifting his career, necessary media coaching and training, purchasing state of the art musical infrastructure and upgrading the standard of life for himself and his family.
According to our sources close to the ‘Proud’ creator, he’s currently scheduled to do a lengthy promotional campaign in the musical capital of the island Kingston, as he plans to make his presence felt at all media houses and premiere events.
We’ve also received word that, Fully Bad is working on his first official release since signing entitled, “Born Fi Dweet” produced by fast-rising producer DJ Slow Motion.
Based on the exclusive snippet we received at British Linkz, our most honest opinion of the single is to, expect a familiar but not regularly exploited aspect of Fully Bad’s artistry.
Which we believe should inspire listeners and in turn propel Fully Bad to the next level of his musical career within the Dancehall industry.
