Dancehall artiste Spice will be one of the headliners on Bounce Musik Festival in Orlando, Florida, on December 19. Organiser of the event, Galdiez, who is also the conceptualiser of Galiday Bounce in Jamaica, promises an exciting package, while stating that a lot of thought was placed into selecting the line-up.
“We are still experiencing a pandemic so everything will be done in the correct order. Spice is one of the hottest female dancehall artistes out there and is expected to move the ground as usual. There are other top acts on it as well and there are spaces for the young-and-upcoming acts as well. We have some of dancehall’s finest DJs as well,” he said.
In addition to Spice, Bounce Musik Festival will also feature performances from Mr Killa, Iyara, Marvin Binns, Stinga J and more.
Foota Hype, Platinum Kids and DJ Pampi are three of several deejays who will be at the turntables.
The event will be held at Genesis Event Outdoor Centre.
“We are planning to go state to state with this event. It’s really a continuation of Galiday Bounce out of Linstead, St Catherine, but we are hosting it in the United States. The first event attracted a lot of persons and it was staged in memory of my late mother Mama Ventress. Bounty Killer was also instrumental in this event so I have to give him maximum respect. I’m just trying to play my part in the Jamaican entertainment brand,” he said.
Galdiez was a member of Bounty Killer-led Alliance. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
