Dancehall recording artiste Squash has once again shown his versatility with the release of what is being dubbed as a party anthem for the summer entitled ‘6ix Rack’.

The single produced by Jovi Musiq and distributed by Hapilos has racked up 742,732 views on Squash’s Vevo as of the 17th of May and is easily a fan favorite.

Described as ‘feel good music’, Squash talks about his successes and takes shots at the naysayers. His lyrics state that he has ‘the place locked’, as failure is not an option for him:

“Lock e place, mhm same

….. life change

Couldn’t fail, money pan mi brain

Mr Whittaker mi name, 30 mill ina mi safe

A so mi catty shake, uno ugly like a ape

Cah see mi, se mi scarce, cah see mi face”

In addition to addressing his haters and showing off his well-earned success, Squash can be seen dancing in the video. His lyrics state, “Mi noh danca but mi do di six rack”, he then adds a very catchy but clear statement in his chorus:

“Way far, dem way far from we (way far, way far)

Way far, dem way far from we (way far, way far)

Way far, dem way far from daddy one

Hate hard, dem a hate hard pan we”

The ‘Sweepstake Life’ artiste reigns from Salt Spring in St. James and is predominately known for his ‘gritty’ and ‘hardcore’ music. ‘Ambala’ produced by 6ix Real Records and Hemton Music, is also a party/ club vibe song and a hit track for the dance community on social media especially on Tik Tok and is presently trending at number one for 7 weeks in a row on the Hapilos Top 10 Digital Chart. Both ‘6ix Rack’ and ‘Ambala’ are a refreshing addition to his catalogue.

‘6ix Rack’ was released on 2nd of May and is available on all major streaming platforms.
