Outspoken female vocalist Tanya Stephens, who has been very critical of the government and certain corporate personalities in recent times, seems to have recalibrated her focus and is currently working on a new album.
The hope is that fans will get an opportunity to hear some of her views articulated in songs on this forthcoming collection.
The project will be the multi-hyphenated entertainer’s 10th studio effort since releasing her debut album “Big Things A Gwaan” back in 1994.
With a career spanning over two and a half decades and nine albums later, Tanya is expected to deliver the still-untitled album in July. The anthology is being curated under the stewardship of Tad’s Records and arrives eight years after her last album, “Guilty”, released back in 2014.
The 48-year-old singer has been credited as one of Jamaica’s most prolific singers and songwriters, amassing a plethora of hits throughout the years.
